The STAR Education Fund acts as an umbrella body for individuals, corporations and educational institutions interested in contributing towards the education of exceptional and needy students. Invitation for applications for the scholarships are advertised in The Star newspaper between February to April.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be below 25 years of age, possess good academic results, be active in co-curricular activities, and be financially needy, and must not be in receipt of any other financial aid.
Loan coverage
The scholarship covers up to 100% of course fees only.
